As an adventure guide leading corporate retreats, I chose Motel Select for its strategic location just inside the Romanian border, ideal for starting our journey to Brasov. The comfortable bed and cleanliness met basic expectations after a long drive. The room's layout, separate from the reception area, offered a sense of privacy which I appreciated when discussing upcoming activities with my team.However, the lack of new investments was evident, and the property seemed to be merely coasting along as a cash cow with a potential decline in the near future. Despite this, free parking and the convenient distance to Brasov were advantages.For business travelers, the hotel's potential lies in its 24-hour reception and security, which ensure seamless check-ins and peace of mind during remote work sessions. With a bar lounge and restaurant available, Motel Select could cater to networking opportunities.
